Why West Quincy?    West Quincy is located just across the Mississippi River from Quincy, Illinois. Quincy, and the immediate area represents a population of approximates 100,000.  West Quincy, Missouri is located on the busy four-lane US Highway 24 on the Missouri-Illinois border.  
The location of West Quincy, Missouri is quite attractive, Besides lower state sale tax,  Missouri has much lower state taxes on fuel, tobacco, and liquor.  Illinois residents take advantage of this tax differential. Moreover, a large number of workers from Missouri work in Quincy and pass through West Quincy every day. More and more people are moving to Missouri while continuing to work in Quincy. West Quincy can be a very convenient place to stop and shop.
Still, West Quincy is largely undeveloped. It is easy to see that West Quincy has a bright future.
